ฮิโอกิ (Hioki) ฮิโอกิ สำนักงานใหญ่ ประเทศญี่ปุ่นได้ใช้พลังงานที่ปราศจากการปล่อยคาร์บอนอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ
ฮิโอกิมีความยินดีที่จะประกาศแจ้งให้ทราบว่าทางโรงงานสำนักงานใหญ่ที่ญี่ปุ่น ได้ทำการติดตั้งระบบพลังงานน้ำที่ปราศจากคาร์บอนเสร็จสิ้นและเริ่มใช้งาน ในวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2564 ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งตอนนี้ทางโรงงานได้หันมาใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียนอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ 100% และจะไม่มีการปล่อย CO2 จากการใช้พลังงานในโรงงานทั้งหมด
บริษัทได้หันมาใช้พลังงานที่ปราศจากการปล่อยคาร์บอนโดยเริ่มจาก Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co. , Inc. ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในสามของโรงงานสำนักงานใหญ่ที่มีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งต่อการใช้พลังงานในเดือนมกราคม 2563 ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความพยายามที่จะช่วยลดปัญหาก๊าซเรือนกระจก ปัจจุบันได้ทำการเปลี่ยนระบบอย่างเต็มรูปแบบเป็น 100% ใน เมษายน 2564 ที่ผ่านมา การเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวช่วยให้การใช้พลังงานที่ปราศจากการปล่อยคาร์บอนของฮิโอกิในญี่ปุ่นเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 98.6% และทำให้โรงงานสำนักงานใหญ่สามารถลดการปล่อย CO2 เทียบเท่า 5,500 เมกะวัตต์ต่อชั่วโมงหรือประมาณ 2,300 ตันต่อปี * โดยอ้างอิงข้อมูลผลลัพธ์จากปี พ.ศ. 2563
